Why is the anti-Obama crowd so set against Caroline Kennedy replacing Hillary Clinton for senator, in New York State?  In the case of Republican Peter King, he knows she would be a tough incumbent to beat when her term is up.  And certainly, Andrew Cuomo’s ambitions would be set back, somewhat.  But what about the rest of the mob?  Are they just being sucked into the usual news-for-entertainment media vortex?  Or, are they just trying to punish an ardent Obama supporter for helping him get elected?

Whitley County,  Kentucky truck driver Daniel John Essek filed a demand last week that President-elect Barack Obama prove he is a natural-born U.S. citizen.   The filing might be  the first post-election court challenge to Mr. Obama’s qualifications to be president.
